Featherstone’s patient participation group has been running for many years.  The practice is represented by Dr. Saleem and the practice manager.  There are currently eight members who represent the patients.  Meetings are held at the surgery, on the third Thursday bi-monthly.

A patient group is important because it acts as a connection between patients and doctors, highlighting problems and suggesting improvements. The group last reviewed their terms of reference in 2015 – you can view them here.

We would like the group to be representative of all our patients, young and old – male and female and would welcome any new members, especially from our underrepresented group.

It may be that you are unable to attend the meetings, but wish to make a contribution some other way, if so please contact us, as all methods of communication are welcome.
